In December of 2017, FCCA purchased 1480 Old Mill Road with the goal of restoring the conservation land and renovating the house which is full of potential. It has an open first floor that we hope to use as a Youth Center and add in a commercial kitchen. The second floor has bedrooms and bathrooms that will eventually be used as staff housing and offices. There is an open loft as well. The dilapidated house has a unique look to it with its square shape and pyramidal roof. The house was originally built in 1973 by Dugan Heckman.
If you'd like to see the progress that we have made on 1480, click here. If you are interested in volunteering in the renovation of 1480, please call the mill or email us. No previous experience is necessary. Workdays are Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to Noon |
