In December of 2017, FCCA purchased the dilapidated 1480 Old Mill Road property with the goal of restoring the conservation land and renovating the house which was full of potential. It has an open first floor that we hope to use as a Youth Center and add in a commercial kitchen. The second floor has bedrooms and bathrooms that are currently being used as an Airbnb. The formerly dilapidated house has a unique look to it with its square shape and pyramidal roof. The house was originally built in 1973 by Dugan Heckman.
If you'd like to see the progress that we have made on 1480, click here. If you are interested in volunteering in the renovation of 1480, please call the mill or email us. No previous experience is necessary. Workdays are Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. to Noon |
