Knowledge is Power
One of our goals at Franklin Creek Conservation Association is building knowledge and appreciation of the natural world around us. One way to do that is to get kids and their parents out to enjoy the area. If you have a group that is interested in learning more about the habitats at Franklin Creek State Natural Area, please check out the Field Trip page to learn more.

For younger kids and families the Franklin Creek Education Committee is unveiling a number of self-guided activities that will encourage exploration in the State Natural Area and teach kids about the natural world around them. Instructions for these activities will be available to pick up inside of the Grist Mill during operating hours and available for printing on the Franklin Creek Conservation association website. As these activities are completed, Junior Naturalist Certificates will be awarded.
If you would like to help create and deliver programs with the Education Committee please follow the link and fill out the application. |
